    Happy Release Day, Leaona Luxx!!

    #1 Bestseller

You know that old saying… He’s the next big thing.
Yeah, that was me. I was a rising star, and I couldn’t have been happier.
Fame, money, women at every turn. I had it all, until the day my world came crashing in.
I never fathomed this would be my life.
But here I am, a single dad at twenty-eight and I have no clue what I’m doing.
I pray every day I’m giving her the best life, ‘cause it’s the only one I know.
The minute I had lost everything and had nothing left to give.
    Charlee showed up.
She restored my faith and gave us so much more than I ever deserved.
So can you tell me why I’m sitting here alone?
Every single day that goes by without them, I lose more of myself.
It’s hard to imagine a world they’re not a part of.
So I pick up my old guitar and tell them both how I feel.
Turns out, lullabies aren’t just for children.

    Sea Yacht Overview

Rarely does a story deduce me to tears and shred at my emotions so fiercely that I have to pause what I’m doing to collect myself. Somehow, someway, Leaona Luxx has a knack for reaching deep within my dark and pitiful soul to find the tiniest fray of emotions and yanks at them with a vengeance.

Luci’s Lullaby did just that, and much, much more. I’m not one for writing book reports, so you won’t find a summary of the story in my review; buy the book, read the book, and FEEL. Because a Leaona Luxx book is guaranteed to give you just that. Whether the emotions are dire and gripping, or toe-curling and thigh-clenching, Leaona has a way of writing her characters so vividly and with such depth that you will feel as if you’re a friend living life on the sidelines and supporting these characters as they go through their trials and tribulations. Alden and Charlee are no exceptions to the rule as their plight is real and gut-wrenching, but the positive outcome can only be determined through love and strength and battling the obstacles before them.

Do they do it together or fall apart at the seams?

Buy the book and find out.

REVIEW-Losing a Piece of Me by KB Andrews AUDIO book

A secret separates a girl from not only her family but her soul mate, but that secret is… there’s more to what’s she hiding. She just doesn’t have the courage to dismantle the lives of those she loves. It’s a courageous sacrifice for a teenage girl to selflessly turn to exiling herself from the life she’s always known and standing on her own two feet to protect her family, but that’s just what Lex does. She’s strong enough to protect everyone until she returns home for her sister’s wedding events and comes face to face with Stryker, the boy she left behind. But what she’s keeping from him could not only shatter him, but her family, and her hometown.

But Stryker’s resolve to prove his love for Lex is more powerful than she could have imagined, and he doesn’t care who tries to stand in his way.

Sarah Puckett narrates Losing a Piece of Me flawlessly, narrating dual POV-male and female. I could literally feel the raw emotion of Lex’s plight in Ms. Puckett’s voice as if the story she told was her own. KB Andrews maintains a deep suspense throughout the story, only unearthing the harrowing secrets at the climax when it all comes crashing down, tugging and ripping at your heartstrings with every word spoken.

    I have a secret.

A secret that chased me away from my home, my family, away from the only man I’ve ever loved.

I took that secret and pushed it down inside of me.

So far down, that it never had a chance of coming out.

That dirty little secret was like a seed. A seed that took root and grew to become a piece of me.

But what happens when that secret has finally outgrown me?

When its vines climb over every wall I have in place?

When it finally overfills that little spot inside of me that it’s been buried in for so long now?

    All secrets come out eventually.

I just hope mine doesn’t destroy everyone I love.

    Never play a game
    you can’t win.

For Cain Kent, that rule is golden. Losing is not in his vocabulary, and up until
now, everything has come easy. Football, school, girls … his charm-laced ego
may just be bigger than Texas itself.

The competition he started freshman year with his friends, to make ten notches
each in their bedposts by graduation day, is practically in the bag. One more
to go, and then it’s off to college fame and eventually, the big time.
Attachments aren’t something he wants to form, but when the quiet new girl
challenges him in front of his classmates, his curiosity is peaked. She would
be the perfect final score, and what fun to break her in the process.

Too bad Harper Posy has no intention of being just another warm body,
especially to the bad boy quarterback. Even if he does quote Forster and Huxley
when no one is listening. An aspiring author herself, Cain and his hidden soft
side are dangerous to her heart. She’s seen men ruin her mother’s dreams time
and again, and she’s determined to fly far away as soon as she has that diploma
    in her fist.

But as the school year’s end looms closer, both realize they didn’t quite
understand the rules to begin with. Is winning a dirty bet worth the gamble
when the stakes, or the other’s heart in this case, are so high?

Harper is the one girl who isn’t up for playing games. And she just might make
    Cain lose. Everything.
