You know that old saying… He’s the next big thing.
Yeah, that was me. I was a rising star, and I couldn’t have been happier.
Fame, money, women at every turn. I had it all, until the day my world came crashing in.
I never fathomed this would be my life.
But here I am, a single dad at twenty-eight and I have no clue what I’m doing.
I pray every day I’m giving her the best life, ‘cause it’s the only one I know.
The minute I had lost everything and had nothing left to give.
Charlee showed up.
She restored my faith and gave us so much more than I ever deserved.
So can you tell me why I’m sitting here alone?
Every single day that goes by without them, I lose more of myself.
It’s hard to imagine a world they’re not a part of.
So I pick up my old guitar and tell them both how I feel.
Turns out, lullabies aren’t just for children.
Sea Yacht Overview
Rarely does a story deduce me to tears and shred at my emotions so fiercely that I have to pause what I’m doing to collect myself. Somehow, someway, Leaona Luxx has a knack for reaching deep within my dark and pitiful soul to find the tiniest fray of emotions and yanks at them with a vengeance.
Luci’s Lullaby did just that, and much, much more. I’m not one for writing book reports, so you won’t find a summary of the story in my review; buy the book, read the book, and FEEL. Because a Leaona Luxx book is guaranteed to give you just that. Whether the emotions are dire and gripping, or toe-curling and thigh-clenching, Leaona has a way of writing her characters so vividly and with such depth that you will feel as if you’re a friend living life on the sidelines and supporting these characters as they go through their trials and tribulations. Alden and Charlee are no exceptions to the rule as their plight is real and gut-wrenching, but the positive outcome can only be determined through love and strength and battling the obstacles before them.
Do they do it together or fall apart at the seams?
Buy the book and find out.
